Studio KISKO has reimagined an Athenian apartment creating a harmonious blend of past and present

Studio KISKO has completed its latest project: a contemporary apartment in the heart of Athens that skillfully combines modern minimalism with the city’s rich historical character. Designed by Fragkiskos Sarris, founder of Studio KISKO, the space embodies both the essence of comfortable living and a deep connection to the architectural heritage of its surroundings.

The apartment was commissioned by a young entrepreneur with a passion for travel and exploration. Having lived across the globe, the client sought a personal retreat that integrates her diverse experiences. Studio KISKO designed the apartment to reflect her global influences, incorporating personal mementos and travel souvenirs into a cohesive narrative that aligns with the vibrant culture of Athens.

The apartment features textured materials, colorful tiles with varied finishes, and elegant marble accents, adding layers of depth and historical reference. These features complement the contemporary aesthetic, creating a harmonious blend of past and present. With clean lines and a muted color palette, the apartment creates a serene and sophisticated environment, perfect for relaxation and intimate gatherings.
