Τo αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο Modulus Architecture επιμελήθηκε το σχεδιασμό του Hippy Chic bar. Το μπαρ βρίσκεται στο φρούριο της Λάρισας και αφετηρία στο σχεδιασμό του υπήρξε η διαμόρφωση ενός νέου εξωτερικού χώρου με στόχο την επέκταση και την ανάδειξη του υπάρχοντος μαγαζιού. Η ιδέα ήταν να σχεδιαστεί ένας χώρος ατμοσφαιρικός και σύγχρονος, με hippy ατμόσφαιρα, προσφέροντας gourmet finger food, χρώματα και εκπληκτική θέα στο ηλιοβασίλεμα του φρουρίου.

Οι αρχιτέκτονες έχοντας να διαχειριστούν έναν αρκετά μικρό χώρο, θεώρησαν, πως η πιο δυναμική επιλογή, θα ήταν η χωροθέτηση ενός μπαρ το οποίο θα λειτουργήσει ως πόλος έλξης για τη συγκεκριμένη γωνιά του καταστήματος.

Η σύνθεση ξεκινά με μια καμπύλη η οποία διατρέχει τον χώρο, όπου στην αρχή της διαμορφώνει την κάβα και στη συνέχεια, χαμηλώνει και δημιουργεί το μπαρ. Καθώς ο νέος χώρος είναι υπερυψωμένος, στην όψη του σχηματίζεται ένα ψηλό stand.

“Ο χώρος κλείνει με την οροφή από πλέξη bamboo”.

Το σχέδιο της οροφής προκύπτει από την κάτοψη και τις γραμμές του μπαρ αλλά και από την αποδόμηση των σχημάτων και των μορφών του logo του hippy chic. Το φυσικό υλικό, η χειροποίητη πλέξη και τα σχήματα δημιουργούν ένα ατμοσφαιρικό σκηνικό με ταυτόχρονα χαλαρή και πολυτελή διάθεση. Η πρόσοψη του νέου μπαρ λειτουργεί σαν ένα κάδρο, στο οποίο διαδραματίζεται ένα παιχνίδι φωτός και σκιάς, μέσα από τα σχήματα της οροφής και έρχεται σε αντίθεση με το σκοτεινό περιβάλλον στο οποίο βρίσκεται.

Οι καμπύλες μορφές του μπαρ, συνεχίζουν και στα φυτεμένα τμήματα, που περιστοιχίζουν το χώρο. Γίνεται χρήση φυτών, που φέρνουν στο μυαλό, τροπικές εικόνες όπως αλοκάσια, στερλίτσια κ.α. ενώ συστάδες μπαμπού ολοκληρώνουν την αγκαλιά της φύτευσης.

Οι περιμετρικές τοιχοποιίες, επενδύονται με τσιμεντοκονία πράσινου χρώματος, σε αντιστοιχία με το φόντο του εσωτερικού χώρου. Τα stools του μπαρ σχεδιάστηκαν αντλώντας έμπνευση από την μορφή των τυμπάνων ολοκληρώνοντας την hippy chic ατμόσφαιρα του νέου χώρου.

English description: Modulus Architecture office designed Hippy Chic Bar. The bar is located in the fortress of Larissa, Greece and the starting point in its design was the creation of a new exterior space with the aim of expanding and highlighting the existing shop. The idea was to design a space atmospheric and modern, with hippy atmosphere, thus offering gourmet finger food, colors and unobstructed view to the sunset of the fortress.

Architects had to manage a fairly small space and it was considered that the most dynamic option would be the placement of a bar which will act as a pole of attraction for this particular corner of the store. The design begins with a curve that runs through the space, which at the beginning shapes the cellar and then lowers and creates the bar. As the new space is elevated, a high stand is formed on its face.

The ceiling design derives from the floor plan and lines of the bar but also from the deconstruction of the shapes and forms of the hippy chic logo. The natural material, the handmade knitting and the shapes create an atmospheric setting with a relaxed and luxurious mood at the same time.

The new facade of the bar works like a frame, in which a play of light and shadow takes place through the shapes of the ceiling and contrasts with the dark environment in which it is located.

The curved forms of the bar continue in the planted sections that surround the space. Plants are used, which bring to mind tropical images such as alocasia, sterlitzia etc., while clumping bamboo completes the planted perimeter.

The walls are lined with light green plaster, in correspondence with the background of the interior space. The bar stools were designed drawing inspiration from the form of drums, completing the hippy chic atmosphere of the new space.
