CERAMICA CIELO becomes increasingly global and consolidates its presence in the States with the opening of the first single-brand showroom in Manhattan. After the success of Miami, CIELO focuses on New York, promoting itself with an unprecedented contemporary bathroom furnishing concept.
In Greene Street, the main street of the eclectic SoHo Design District, between elegant shop windows and designer boutiques, CIELO opens the new prestigious exhibition space that brings the style and elegance of Italian design to the metropolis.
The showroom allows you to discover the extraordinary world of handmade in Italy ceramics and is dedicated to architects, interior designers and customers for the realization of both residential and contract projects.
With a surface area of 120 square metres over two levels, the new flagship store is a succession of micro settings that enhance the Company’s sophisticated and recognizable design and the furnishing capabilities of the products, expressing a precise lifestyle idea.
Aimed at customizing all the products that, thanks to a choice of 16 matt colours, different finishes, woods and lacquers, allowing you to create and set the same product in contexts characterized by completely different moods and making it absolutely unique.
In this setting of excellence, capable of enclosing and expressing every aspect of the soul of CIELO – the custodian of the most authentic wisdom in the processing of ceramics – the most quintessential products are displayed, combining quality, innovation and contemporary design.
In fact, here you can find some of the most iconic collections of the brand, enhanced by the exclusive Le Terre di CIELO colour range, inspired by the nature that CIELO, the first company in the world, developed in 2013 with a study and experimentation program on the colours of the elements of land, vegetation and minerals.
First of all I Catini, a project from 2016, which is inspired by the past to tell, through a modern and contemporary language, the story of one of the most symbolic pieces of the bathroom of the early 1900s, up to the latest creations such as Pliny, Siwa and Elle, resulting in the constant stylistic research of CIELO to create solutions devoted to aesthetics but also able to satisfy functional needs.
As with many of the brand’s successful collections, space is the maximum expression of refined elegance and bears the unmistakable signature of the two Art Directors, Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano.
Characterized by neutral tones and a careful definition of the layout of the spaces, each with a different mood, the new CIELO showroom offers the public the mix of shapes, dimensions, thicknesses and colours that have made its collections unique on the market.
The new showroom in New York – whose inauguration was held on Thursday the 24th of October at 5pm – demonstrates the Company’s ability to spread the culture of Italian design on the international scene, thanks to a production entirely made in Italy that combines traditional craftmanship and innovation, capable of transforming the bathroom into a place of elegance and well-being with a strong personality and aesthetic expression.
